5 pieces every woman should own (that aren't basics)
Everyone talks about "building a capsule wardrobe" but then lists the same 10 boring basics. White tee, black pants, denim jacket — you've heard it a million times.
Here's what actually moves the needle for my clients:
1. A structured blazer that fits YOUR shoulders — Not your boyfriend's, not oversized-for-the-aesthetic. One that hits your shoulder seam perfectly. This single piece makes jeans and a tee look intentional.
2. A midi skirt in a print you love — Florals, abstract, geometric — doesn't matter. A printed midi skirt is the fastest way to look "put together" with zero effort. Pair it with a simple top and you're done.
3. Statement earrings (the bigger the better) — When you don't know what to wear, accessories do the heavy lifting. One pair of bold earrings can transform a basic outfit into something that gets compliments.
4. A bag in an unexpected color — Not black, not brown. Think deep green, burgundy, cobalt. It becomes your signature piece without even trying.
5. A great-fitting pair of trousers that aren't black — Olive, navy, chocolate, cream. When your pants aren't black, suddenly everything you own looks different with them.
The difference between women who "have style" and women who don't? It's not money or taste. It's having someone show you what actually works for YOUR body and life.
That's what I do inside The Style Circle — weekly styling tips, outfit feedback, and a community of women figuring it out together.
