The 10-minute money check I wish I'd started sooner
A lot of people skip budgeting because it feels like a full-time job. It does not have to be.
Once a week, sit down with last week's spending and answer three questions:
What did I have to pay?
What did I choose to spend?
What do I want sitting in savings at the end of the month?
If you cannot answer those without opening five apps, the problem is not willpower. You do not have a simple system.
Write the answers down. Repeat next week. That is the whole habit.
