Here's the uncomfortable truth: scouting is still mostly a proximity game. A 16-year-old with elite technical ability in a small town in Nigeria, Brazil's interior, or rural Indonesia is statistically just as likely to be world-class as a kid training at a top academy in Europe — but he'll never get seen, because scouts go where the infrastructure already is. Talent is evenly distributed. Access is not.

The traditional path (get spotted at a local match → get invited to a trial → get signed) requires someone with a scouting mandate to physically be in the right stands at the right time. That's an incredibly small filter for a 8 billion person planet where football is the #1 sport almost everywhere.

What's actually changed in the last 5 years is the input cost of proof. A phone camera can now capture match footage good enough for a trained coach to assess technical level, decision-making, and physical tools — remotely, asynchronously, at basically zero cost. The bottleneck isn't talent, and it isn't footage. It's trusted evaluation. Clubs don't have time to watch raw footage from strangers — they need someone whose judgment they trust to pre-filter it.

That's the actual product: not a highlight reel platform, but a credible layer of human evaluation between raw footage and a club's inbox. Real coaches, watching real match footage, making real calls on who's worth a look.
