The 3 Mistakes That Kill 90% of Sports Bettors' Bankrolls
Most people lose money betting on sports. Not because they don't know the game — because they don't have a system.
Here are the 3 biggest mistakes I see every week:
1. Betting with emotion, not data.
Your favorite team is playing? Cool. That doesn't mean they cover the spread. I look at matchups, trends, injury reports, and line movement before I touch a pick. If the numbers don't support it, it doesn't make the card. Period.
2. No bankroll management.
Throwing your whole balance on a "lock" is the fastest way to go broke. I size every bet based on confidence level. No single play should ever risk more than 3-5% of your bankroll.
3. Chasing losses.
Bad day? Walk away. The games will be there tomorrow. Chasing is how a 1-unit loss turns into a 10-unit hole. Discipline separates winners from everyone else.
I've been building a system around these principles and sharing my daily picks with a small group. If you're tired of losing and want a disciplined approach — check out my Daily Picks. Full card every day with the reasoning behind each play.
