5 ChatGPT Prompts That Save Teachers 3+ Hours a Week

I've been helping K-12 teachers integrate AI into their workflows. Here are 5 prompts that consistently blow people's minds:

1. The Lesson Plan Generator

"Create a [grade level] lesson plan for [topic] that includes learning objectives, a warm-up activity, main instruction, guided practice, and an exit ticket. Align to [state] standards."

2. The Rubric Builder

"Design a 4-level rubric for a [assignment type] on [topic] for [grade level]. Include specific criteria for each proficiency level."

3. The Differentiation Helper

"Take this assignment and create three versions: one for below-grade readers, one for on-grade, and one for advanced students. Keep the same learning objectives."

4. The Parent Email Writer

"Write a professional but warm email to a parent about [situation]. Keep it under 150 words and suggest a next step."

5. The Assessment Generator

"Create a 10-question assessment on [topic] for [grade level] with a mix of multiple choice, short answer, and one open-ended question. Include an answer key."

These five alone can reclaim hours every week. The trick isn't just knowing the prompts — it's learning how to tweak them for YOUR classroom.
