The Wedding Planning Checklist Nobody Gives You

Everyone tells you to "enjoy the engagement" and then hands you a 47-page Pinterest board. That's not a plan — that's anxiety fuel.

Here's the actual timeline I wish someone gave me from day one:

12+ months out:

  • Set your budget FIRST (before you fall in love with a $40k venue)

  • Book your venue and photographer — these book out the fastest

  • Start your guest list draft — it changes everything about budget and venue size

9-12 months out:

  • Lock in your wedding party

  • Book DJ/band, florist, and catering

  • Start dress shopping (alterations take longer than you think)

6-9 months out:

  • Send save-the-dates

  • Book officiant, hair & makeup

  • Plan the rehearsal dinner

  • Register for gifts

3-6 months out:

  • Send invitations

  • Finalize menu and seating chart draft

  • Book honeymoon

  • Get marriage license requirements

1-3 months out:

  • Final dress fitting

  • Confirm ALL vendors (call every single one)

  • Write vows

  • Create day-of timeline

The week of:

  • Final seating chart

  • Pack an emergency kit (sewing kit, Advil, snacks, phone charger)

  • Delegate. You should not be coordinating on your own wedding day.

The biggest mistake couples make? Trying to plan everything at once instead of following a timeline. You don't need to figure it all out today.

Inside The Blueprint, I break each of these phases down with templates, scripts for talking to vendors, and a community of couples going through it together. No fluff, just the shortcuts.
