3 prompting mistakes 90% of entrepreneurs make with AI
Most entrepreneurs use AI like a search engine. They type a vague question and hope for magic. That doesn't work.
After months of working with Claude daily, I keep seeing the same three mistakes:
1. Prompting too vaguely
"Write me marketing copy" → bad result. "Write an Instagram caption for a fitness coach targeting moms aged 30-40 who want to work out in the morning. Tone: motivating but not pushy. Max 150 words." → much better.
2. Not providing context
Claude knows nothing about your business unless you tell it. Start every session with who you are, what you sell, and who your customer is. The difference is night and day.
3. One prompt, one attempt
The real power is in the follow-up. Ask Claude to improve its own output. "Make it more specific." "Give me 3 alternative versions." "What am I missing?"
AI is a tool — and like any tool, you need to learn how to use it properly.
I've bundled everything I know into The Claude Playbook. Check it out if you're serious about using AI for your business.
