The 3 reasons you can't stay consistent at the gym (and how to fix each one)

Most guys who start going to the gym quit within the first 3 months. It's not because they're lazy — it's because they're making the same 3 mistakes.

1. You're following a program that wasn't built for you

That 6-day PPL split your favorite influencer runs? He's been training for 8 years. You need 3 days a week, full body, compound movements. Simple beats complex every time when you're starting out.

2. You're chasing motivation instead of building a system

Motivation is a feeling. It comes and goes. What you need is a trigger → routine → reward loop. Pick a time, go at that time every day, and reward yourself after. In 3 weeks it stops feeling like effort.

3. You're not tracking anything

If you're not writing down what you lifted, you're guessing. And guessing means you're not progressing. Progressive overload is the entire game — track your weights, add a little each week, and watch what happens.

I break stuff like this down every week inside The Gain Letter. No fluff, just what works for guys who are just getting started.
