The 6-week school farewell timeline nobody writes down

Most Class 10/12 farewells fall apart in the same three places: the guest list is a WhatsApp dump, speeches get written the morning of, and the budget is a screenshot of UPI payments.

If you are on the core team, steal this:

Week 6 — Lock the date, hall, and a hard guest cap. Assign one owner each for guests, speeches, budget, décor.

Week 5 — Invite list out. Teachers, juniors, the principal. Confirm the MC.

Week 4 — Speeches assigned. Every speaker gets a 60-second cap and a prompt: one memory, one thank-you, one wish. No “we will miss you” filler.

Week 3 — Budget freeze. Hall, food, lights, photos. 10% held back for the things you forgot.

Week 2 — Run-of-show on one page. Who walks when, who speaks when, who holds the mic.

Week 1 — Confirm every vendor twice. Print the program. Sleep.

Day of — One person owns the timeline. Everyone else executes.

That is the whole job. The Farewell Planner is built around those four boards so the committee is not rebuilding this from a group chat at 1am.
