Read this on the day you don't want to.

There will be a day this week when none of it works. You will open the planner and feel nothing. The calendar alarm will go off and you will swipe it away. You will know exactly what to do and you will not do it.

That day is not a system failure. It is the day the system was built for.

Here is the only rule for that day: shrink the start until it is embarrassing. Not 25 minutes. Not 10. Open the file and write one line. Set the timer for two minutes. Do the version of the task you would be ashamed to call work.

Your brain is not refusing the task. It is refusing the size of the task. Make it small enough that saying no costs more energy than saying yes.

Then stop. Two minutes counts. You did not lose the day, and tomorrow you are not starting from zero, you are starting from a habit you did not break.

The people who keep this system are not the ones who never have that day. They are the ones who made that day cost two minutes instead of everything.

How to get the most out of The Procrastination Fix

Read this once, then go start. It covers how the system works, how to run your first 7 days, and the one skill that matters most.

PART 1. HOW THE SYSTEM ACTUALLY WORKS

Most tools you have tried attack the wrong problem. Blockers fight distraction. Planners organize work you never start. Videos explain focus while you watch instead of working.

The real problem has two heads:

- Head 1: your brain cannot initiate. Starting feels physically impossible.

- Head 2: once you finally start, the same device that holds your work pulls you out within minutes.

This system attacks both. The first half (ebook chapters 1-3 plus The Focus Start Planner) gets you starting in under 10 minutes without waiting for motivation. The second half (chapters 4-7 plus the Playbook and the Tracker) keeps you in the session and brings you back fast when you drift.

Use it in that order. Fix the start first. Everything else gets easier after that.

PART 2. YOUR FIRST 7 DAYS

Day 1: Read the Start Here Guide. Import The Focus Start Calendar into your phone. Run one 10-minute start. That is the whole day. Done is the goal, not perfect.

Days 2-3: Use The Focus Start Planner before each session. Print or pin the Cheat-Sheet (Part 1 of the Playbook) where you work. Log your sessions in the Focus & Drift Tracker, do not judge the numbers yet, just record them.

Days 4-5: Check the Tracker. You will see exactly where your time leaks, which app, which moment, which trigger. The Playbook's session map (Part 2) tells you what to change.

Days 6-7: You will slip at some point. That is expected and built into the system. Part 3 of the Playbook, the Back on Track Checklist, gets you back in 30 seconds instead of losing the day.

After day 7, the system runs on structure, not willpower. That is the point.

PART 3. THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILL IN THE WHOLE SYSTEM

It is not focus. It is not discipline. It is the comeback.

Every person slips, opens the wrong app, loses 10 minutes, feels the guilt starting. What separates the people who get the work done from the people who spiral is not avoiding the slip. It is the speed of the return.

Most people turn one slip into a lost day, because the guilt of drifting feels heavier than the work itself. The fix is having a pre-decided re-entry move, so you never negotiate with yourself in the moment. That is Part 3 of your Focus Session Playbook: thirty seconds, three steps, back in the session.

Read it once now, so it is there when you need it.
