Why we're pairing a smoke shop with a crystal shop (and why it actually makes sense)

Been building out The Shaman's Circle for a while now, and the most common question I get is 'why sell pipes next to crystals?'

Here's the thing — the people buying a hand-blown glass piece and the people buying a raw amethyst cluster are, more often than not, the exact same person. Ritual and relaxation aren't separate categories to the people we serve. Rolling papers and rose quartz both end up on the same altar table.

Most head shops treat the experience as transactional — grab a grinder, get out. Most crystal shops lean overly precious and gatekeep-y. We're building the middle: a members' circle where you get real pricing on daily-use gear (grinders, glass, rolling accessories, apparel) AND monthly curated stone drops, without having to pick a lane.

If you've ever felt like your 'spiritual' purchases and your 'relaxation' purchases lived in two different worlds — they don't have to. That's the whole thesis behind Third Eye Supply Co., live now inside The Shaman's Circle.

The 3 biggest mistakes people make before their first plant medicine ceremony

I've sat in over 200 ceremonies and guided hundreds of people through their first experiences with plant medicine. Here are the 3 mistakes I see over and over again — and they can be the difference between a life-changing breakthrough and a rough night you'd rather forget.

1. Not doing the dieta

The preparation diet isn't just tradition for tradition's sake. When you clean up your food, cut out certain substances, and slow down your nervous system in the weeks leading up, you're creating a container for the medicine to actually work. Skip this and you're basically showing up to a marathon without training.

2. Chasing a specific outcome

"I want to see visions." "I want to talk to my ancestors." "I want to fix my anxiety."

I get it. But the medicine doesn't work on your timeline or your terms. The people who have the most profound experiences are the ones who surrender their agenda at the door. Set an intention, yes — but hold it loosely.

3. No integration plan

The ceremony is maybe 10% of the work. The real transformation happens in the days, weeks, and months after. Without a community to process with, a journaling practice, or even just someone to talk to — most of what you received fades within a week.

This is exactly why I built The Shaman's Circle. It's a space where curious beginners, experienced journeyers, and facilitators come together to prepare, sit, integrate, and grow — together.

If any of this resonated, come check it out. 🌿
