I tested 47 AI prompts for content creation — these 5 actually work
Most AI content advice is garbage. "Just ask ChatGPT to write your posts!" Cool, enjoy sounding like every other generic creator on the internet.
I spent 6 months testing different prompt structures across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Out of 47 prompt variations, only 5 consistently produced content that got real engagement. Here's what separates the winners:
1. The Contrarian Hook Prompt
Instead of "write me a hook about X," I tell the AI to argue against common advice in my niche. Result: 3-5x more comments because people can't help but respond to opinions.
2. The Story-First Script Prompt
Feed it a personal experience with a specific outcome. "I did X, expected Y, got Z." AI is terrible at being creative from scratch, but it's incredible at structuring real stories.
3. The Pattern Interrupt Prompt
I ask it to write the first line as a question that makes zero sense out of context. "Why did my dentist teach me more about marketing than my MBA?" Forces the scroll to stop.
4. The Repurpose Chain Prompt
One long-form piece → 7 short-form variations in different formats. This is how I create 30 days of content in a single session.
5. The Engagement Bait Prompt
Not clickbait — engagement bait. I structure prompts to end with an open question that people actually want to answer. Turns every post into a conversation.
The actual prompts with fill-in-the-blank templates are inside the free AI Creator Starter Kit. No email gate, no upsell wall — just the prompts.
If you're spending more than 2 hours/day on content creation, you're doing it wrong.
