Welcome in. I'm Chris Hunter — 16-year U.S. Army veteran, operations leader, Master Instructor and Training Developer, and Founder of Torchbearer Operations Group.

Over my career I have managed operational products including company level (50-135 personnel) SOPs, contracts, HR, training and evaluations. I’ve delivered 5,000+ hours of primary instruction to 8,000+ students across multiple countries, managed the largest arms room in the entire U.S. Army (6,500 line items, $3.5M in assets, zero loss of accountability), administered a $2.7M annual budget, and led teams of up to 55 personnel. I redesigned knowledge transfer methods that got adopted Army-wide and maintained a 100% pass rate across every audit and accreditation I touched. I’ve redesigned lesson plans and course management plans for three executive agencies in the Army.

I built Torchbearer because the operational problems founders face at the 1-50 employee stage are the same ones I have experience solving in the military — and I've spent my career mastering those solutions.
