Last year I booked a "luxury resort" in Bali based on glowing 5-star reviews. Showed up to a construction site with a pool.

Turns out half the reviews were fake — paid accounts, bot-generated text, stock photos in the review images. Classic.

This happens everywhere: TripAdvisor, Google, Booking.com. The review systems are broken because anyone can post anything without proving they exist, let alone that they actually visited.

So I started working on TrustMark — a travel review platform where every reviewer is KYC-verified with a real identity and profile. You can't review a place unless you're a real, verified person.

The idea is simple: if you're planning a $3,000 vacation, you should be able to trust the reviews you're reading.
