What I learned moving from managing vendors to running UGC campaigns
Spent years managing marketing departments (audio for commercials, Google Business/SEO) and running vendor ops for nightclubs. Just turned that experience into a UGC agency — Orbital UGC.
Biggest thing I learned in the first week of setting up a campaign: the real lever isn't finding creators, it's your review queue. Set your minimum payout threshold too low and you're manually reviewing hundreds of low-view submissions for pennies. Set it right (we run ~$6 minimum, meaning a video needs 2,000+ views before it even hits the queue) and you only spend review time on content that's already proving itself with real viewers.
If you're a brand sitting on ad budget and wondering whether UGC/clipping is worth testing — happy to talk through how we structure a first campaign. Comment or DM if you want to swap notes.
