Why your startup's landing page isn't converting (and how to fix it)
I've built 50+ landing pages for SaaS startups over the past 2 years. Here are the 3 mistakes I see on almost every single one:
1. Your hero section talks about features, not outcomes.
Nobody cares that you have "AI-powered analytics." They care that they'll "cut reporting time by 80%." Lead with the transformation, not the technology.
2. You have too many CTAs.
Every landing page should have ONE goal. If you're asking visitors to sign up, book a demo, AND read your blog — you're losing all three. Pick one. Repeat it.
3. Your page loads in 4+ seconds.
Speed kills conversions. Every extra second of load time drops your conversion rate by ~7%. Compress images, ditch the heavy animations, and test on mobile.
Bonus: Social proof above the fold. If you have logos, testimonials, or numbers — put them where people see them before scrolling.
Fix these 3 things and I guarantee your conversion rate improves. If you want a full audit or a ground-up rebuild, that's what Devhaus does.
