Burnout isn't a badge of honor — here's what actually helps
We've normalized burning out. Hustle culture made it feel like a rite of passage.
But here's what nobody talks about: burnout doesn't go away on its own. Taking a long weekend doesn't fix months of running on empty.
I've worked with dozens of people who thought they just needed more sleep. They didn't. They needed a full reset — nervous system, habits, environment, mindset.
What actually works:
Cut input before adding output. Most burnout advice tells you to add things (meditation, journaling, gratitude lists). But recovery starts with removing the things draining you first.
Rebuild sleep architecture, not just sleep hours. 8 hours of broken sleep is not the same as 6 hours of deep, uninterrupted rest.
Redefine what productivity means for you. If your current definition is making you sick, it's time to update it.
Have somewhere to land. Recovery is faster when you're not doing it alone.
If you're in that fog right now — exhausted but wired, disconnected from things that used to matter — that's burnout. And it's fixable.
Wellness Circle is a community + courses + coaching built specifically for this. No toxic positivity. Just real tools and real support.
