5 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting on Whop

Most people overcomplicate their first Whop business. Here's what actually matters:

1. Start free, monetize later. Build an audience of 50-100 engaged members before charging. Free members become your best paying customers because they already trust you.

2. One product, one price. Don't launch with 5 tiers. Pick one offer, one price point, and nail the delivery. You can always add more later.

3. Your community IS the product. People don't pay for information — they pay for access to a room of motivated people. Make your chat active from day one.

4. Post consistently on the public feed. The Whop townhall is underrated. Every post you make is discoverable. Share value, not promotions.

5. DM your first 20 members. Seriously. Ask them what they need, what's working, what's not. This is how you build something people actually want to pay for.

I built this guide to walk you through all of it — step by step. Come check it out.
