Welcome to WriteRoom 🎬

Hey — welcome in, glad to have you.

Here's how this works:

1. Share your brief — Drop your video topic, target audience, and any key points in Client Chat. The more context, the better the script.

2. We write — You'll get your first draft within 3-4 business days. We handle research, hooks, structure, and CTAs.

3. Review & revise — One round of revisions is included per script. Most clients barely need it.

4. Pick up your scripts — Final scripts land in Script Deliveries, ready to record.

You get 4 scripts/month. If you need to roll one over, just let me know in chat.

Let's make some bangers. Drop your first brief whenever you're ready.

The 3-part hook formula that stops viewers from scrolling

I've written scripts for 50+ YouTube videos and the #1 thing that determines whether a video performs isn't the topic — it's the first 8 seconds.

Here's the hook formula I use on every script:

1. Pattern interrupt — Say something unexpected. Not clickbait, but a line that makes the viewer go "wait, what?" Example: "The most successful YouTubers never write their own scripts."

2. Stakes — Tell them what they'll lose by not watching. "If you're still winging your intros, you're losing 60% of your audience before the 30-second mark."

3. Promise — One clear, specific outcome. "By the end of this video, you'll have a plug-and-play hook template for every video you make."

Stack all three in your first 8 seconds and your retention curve changes overnight.

I run a script writing studio called WriteRoom where I do this for mid-tier creators full-time. If you're putting out 4+ videos a month and can't keep up with the writing, that's literally what we built this for.
