Stop prompting like you're talking to Google

Most people open ChatGPT, type a vague question, get a vague answer, then decide AI is overhyped.

That's not an AI problem. That's a search-bar habit.

Try this instead, today:

  1. Give it a role. "You're a hiring manager reviewing my resume."

  2. Give it the real context. Paste the job description. Paste the messy draft.

  3. Tell it what "good" looks like. "Shorter, more specific, less corporate."

  4. Ask it to push back. "What am I missing?"

One prompt like that beats twenty rounds of "write me a better email."

The people who get value from AI aren't smarter. They just stop treating it like a search box.
