Mr. Trendwatch shares what he has learned on Wall Street over the last 36 years ! Mr. Langan has been employed in the Securities Industry for 36 years. His career began on the American Stock Exchange (Amex) where he was one of its youngest members to acquire a seat on the exchange. Steve was a stock and options specialist and market maker on the Amex until 1992. Mr. Langan subsequently created “Trendwatch”, a customized Technical Analytic Service. During the next 8 years, Mr. Langan provided technical analysis to specialists, investment firms and hedge funds. He appeared numerous times on CNBC, CNN and Bloomberg. In 2000, he was hired by Goldman Sachs as a Vice President and was the first published technical analyst in the history of the firm. In 2006, he joined Labranche & Co as a partner and assisted in restructuring their trading operations. In 2007, he joined Rochdale Securities and provided portfolio oversight and idea generation. Hedge fund clients utilized Rochdale’s platform to generate commissions in exchange for his services. In 2012, he founded 2020 Technical Analytics and Quant Modeling. He continues to provide hedge funds and advisors with custom technical analysis of their portfolios as well as investment idea generation. His proprietary systems monitor equities, futures as well as commodities. 2020TAQM provides macro views as well as specific analysis in individual equities.
