Power Plays
The Power Plays are just like your standard parlays on all sports betting apps. You need all your props to hit if you want to receive the total payout, and even if one of them misses, the whole play collapses.
Keep in mind Power Plays are only available in slips with 2, 3, or 4 props, and you can’t go higher than that. If you hit your Power Play, you’ll earn 3x, 5x, and 10x the amount of money you’re wagering, respectively. This is equal to playing a parlay with +200, +400, or +900 odds.
Notice that in a 2-man slip, the implied odds for each leg come out to around -137, while it jumps to around -140 for a 3-man slip. And when you get to the fourth leg, you’re dropping down to around -128 implied. So, as you can see, each Power Play category has way different numbers you should be looking at if you want to find the best value.
Flex Plays
Flex Plays basically work the same as Power Plays if you manage to hit all your props but give small payouts if one or two legs miss. Obviously, you can expect much lower amounts compared to what you’d get if your entire slip is green, but it still helps recoup some losses.
With Flex Plays, you can go all the way from 3-leg slips to 6-leg ones. The payouts you can expect from each slip are listed below:
- 2/3 – 1.25x your wager
- 3/3 – 2.25x your wager
- 3/4 – 1.5x your wager
- 4/4 – 5x your wager
- 3/5 – 0.4x your wager
- 4/5 – 2x your wager
- 5/5 – 10x your wager
- 4/6 – 0.4x your wager
- 5/6 – 2x your wager
- 6/6 – 25x your wager
As you can see, your payouts drop drastically, even when you lose a single pick in your Flex Play. However, you still get something in return for getting close to your prediction, which helps with your long-term bankroll management.
