Allow me to introduce myself—I'm Daijah Cobb, also known as The Army RN. With a rich background in both military service and nursing, I bring a unique blend of experiences to guide you on your journey. For the past eight years, I've proudly served in the Military, concurrently practicing as a registered nurse for the last four. My military journey began at the age of 18 when I enlisted in the Army National Guard as a 74D CBRN soldier. Fast forward four years, and I proudly walked away from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Transitioning seamlessly into travel nursing one year later, I ascended from the rank of E5 Sergeant to a commissioned Nurse Officer in the Army National Guard. Today, I balance my civilian career as a PRN Float Pool Nurse, attending drill weekends once a month as a Nurse Officer. At 26, I stand as a registered nurse in the civilian world and a dedicated nurse officer in the Military. While military service wasn't my initial goal, it unquestionably became my best decision. What began as a means to navigate nursing school evolved into a journey that opened countless doors.
