The first thing I always consider when checking out sports betting Discord servers is their price point.
I’ve looked at affordable communities that only cost a couple of dollars and high-end groups for high rollers. Sports Empire belongs in the latter category, so I wanted to check out the community in detail.
Sports Empire was established several years ago by James Kneiser.
His goal was to create the ultimate sports picks group with high-level daily plays from expert analysts.
James also values and utilizes advanced betting algorithms and is willing to teach his betting strategies to all members.
If you’re already set on joining Sports Empire, you can become a member of the group on Whop now. If you’re not sure about the community’s value, keep reading this review to see what I thought of the Discord group and what it offers for the price.
The person behind Sports Empire
Sports Empire was founded by James Kneiser all the way back in late 2022. Before then, James had been betting for several years on his own before he decided to create a public community for his plays.
The group’s breakout year was 2023, when they got a huge surge of members, and James gained a bunch of followers on social media.
He’s not alone in the group either, as he’s got several other expert analysts working tirelessly to provide additional plays.
All this effort has attracted more than 4K members on Discord, which is really impressive considering the group’s high price tag (more on that later).
Obviously, some will only be part of the free community, but the group still boasts a few thousand VIP members.
Joining the Discord server
As soon as I was done claiming my Sports Empire membership, I immediately jumped into the group’s Discord server.
What I saw surprised me at first, both positively and negatively. The server only has a few sections, with each one having a maximum of three to four channels.
That’s great in terms of organization and keeping things neat and tidy, which is something I definitely appreciate. On the other hand, the server can seem a bit empty at first glance.
Thankfully, that’s not the case, but I’ll talk more about it when covering the different sections.
The group’s introductory section only includes the server rules, links to their social media accounts, and the support ticket system through Discord. I would have appreciated a small welcome guide on the first steps I needed to take, but then again the server is pretty straightforward.
VIP members get to a dedicated “Premium Chat” where they can discuss anything, as well as a separate voice channel. There’s even a channel for community slips if you want to contribute to the server.
Occasionally, James will post some free plays for non-paying members as well.
Expert analyst plays
Next up is the most important section of the Sports Empire Discord group – the “Premium Alerts”. This is where you’ll find dedicated channels for each of the group’s expert analysts, who provide daily plays on different sports.
James has his own channel, covering almost every major sport and league you can think of. He also provides picks for college and combat sports, depending on the action.
Most of James’ plays are straight bets on the moneyline, spreads, and totals, but he’ll also provide prop bets if he finds good value in them.
Then there’s Sam, who is currently the only other capper in the group. Sam’s interests and expertise slightly overlap with James', but his betting strategies are slightly different, so he’s worth checking out.
There’s also the “Account Challenge” channel, where James aims to take a $1K betting account all the way to $10K through his most confident plays each day.
Premium resources
Apart from expert picks, the Sports Empire Discord group also provides a bunch of essential betting resources for premium members.
You get a dedicated “Premium” section with all major community announcements, a channel where you can post your premium wins, and a channel with recommended sports betting apps.
But the most important channel, at least in my opinion, is the “Terminology” channel. This is the place where James shares his knowledge and betting tips with the entire community.
It starts with a brief rundown of important betting terms, which is ideal for newcomers.
Then, James moves on to in-depth bankroll management strategies to help you maximize your chance for long-term profitability.
He’s a very big proponent of proper bankroll management and follows a relatively conservative strategy, too, with his unit size being around 2% of his total bankroll.
It’s important to note that all of James’ plays are accompanied by unit suggestions for single bets.
James believes you’re leaving a ton of value on the table if you start creating huge parlays with his picks, and he only calculates his profits and losses based on single straight plays.

How much you need to pay
Now, let’s get into the biggest issue you might have with Sports Empire – the price point. The Empire requires a single membership to access the entire Discord server with all plays.
However, this membership costs $199 a week, or you can save a bit by getting the monthly package for $497.
Obviously, this is a huge price tag, and it’s easy to think the group is just another “cash grab”.
But, the reality is that James is looking for serious bettors who want to succeed and profit long-term—to do this one key step is to have a high enough bankroll to comfortably wager hundreds of dollars every day.
If you consider his target audience, the price tag doesn’t seem that high. And from what I saw, the group’s plays hit at a very good rate, so you’ll probably be able to make your money back within a few days.
Join James and his team at Sports Empire and receive high-level sports plays today
Overall, I had a really good time at Sports Empire, and even though it costs a lot of money to enter, I think you can definitely find value in James’ and the team’s plays.
The key thing is to not go out of your way to join the group. If you’re just betting $5 or $10 (no shame in it, that's around my unit size, too), you probably won’t ever make your monthly fee back.
But if you’re a high-roller or someone who takes this hobby seriously and has the budget for it, you’ll appreciate the effort James and his team put into each of their daily plays.
So, if you’re after a serious and professional group for high-value plays every day, check out Sports Empire today on Whop. Once you’re in the group, you can approach James with any questions or issues, and he’ll gladly help you succeed in your sports betting journey.
