With most reselling Discord servers relying on hyped-up items, Bread and Butter seems like an outlier with their slow-and-steady approach.

Bread and Butter is all about finding that one (or few) items you can consistently profit from in your reselling journey.

This premise alone made me want to learn more about this community.

The Bread and Butter group has been around for several years, with its founders being professional resellers for a very long time. The Bread and Butter team primarily offers online and in-store leads for consistent flips, and they also provide essential reselling tools and detailed mentorship to help you succeed.

If this sounds interesting, you can check out more about Bread and Butter on Whop and join their group now. Or you can keep reading this review to learn what I liked about their Discord server and the few things I think the team could improve.

But first, a few words about the people behind Bread and Butter.

The Bread and Butter team

Bread and Butter was founded many years ago by two professional resellers, Adam and Hayden. Adam has actually been offering reselling tips for an even longer time through his YouTube channel, Millennial Profit.

Through his successful channel, he has gathered a huge following. At one point, he decided he wanted to take his following to Discord and create a group with reliable leads that could turn into members’ “bread and butter” reselling items.

Around 2022, the community really started to explode in popularity, with Bread and Butter launching their own website and attracting hundreds of new members. They’ve also managed over a hundred five-star reviews on their whop, which is impressive.

Entering the Bread and Butter Discord server

Once I was done claiming my premium membership, I immediately jumped into the Bread and Butter Discord server. At first I was a little confused, since the server structure seemed a bit bland with no clear way of distinguishing each section.

But once I got a closer look into how everything was laid out, I felt it was practical and easy to browse. Still, I wouldn’t mind some color, graphics, or emojis on each channel to ensure they’re easier to distinguish.

The first section within the group contains all the “Important” stuff, like the server rules and major and minor announcements. In the “Welcome” channel, I got a brief but concise explanation of what the server offered.

There’s also a channel with a bunch of important resources and guides for newcomers, and a channel for urgent alerts and leads.

You’ll find a dedicated section with chatting channels for members, including a “General Chat”, where you can discuss anything you want. The group’s experts encourage members to ask questions about anything they wish to learn, and several “Questions” channels are scattered around the server.

Online and in-store leads

Bread and Butter mostly deals with item flips and provides leads so you can find these items at much better prices, either online or in-store. Keep in mind most of these leads are focused on the US market, though.

You’ll find most of these online leads from Adam under the “Owner Cooks” channel in the “Online Flips” section. This is where he posts the items he’s most confident will make you consistent money, so it’s a good idea to look at these leads.

It’s worth noting that Adam and the rest of Bread and Butter don’t really rely on hype item drops but rather more low-key leads. They want you to maintain consistency in your sales instead of hoping to score a hot item or two every once in a while.

You can find additional online flip leads in the “Breadmen Cooks” and the “Member Cooks” channels. The former is a channel exclusively for the Bread and Butter team of expert resellers and their finds, while the latter is open to all members to post their leads.

You’ll also find dedicated channels for Amazon leads, Amazon FBA items, and deals and price errors from the platform. In terms of in-store leads, Bread and Butter basically covers every major US retail store, including Target, Walmart, and Kohls.

The group also has a dedicated section for sneaker resellers. There, you can find interesting upcoming drops and leads on sneakers you can stock up on that will consistently make you money. And if you’re more into collectibles, there are dedicated channels for trading cards, coins, toys, and tickets, among others.

Mentoring and reselling tools

Apart from offering a huge variety of reselling leads, Bread and Butter also wants to help each member improve their reselling business.

The key here is the word “business”. They don’t want you relying on one or two hot item sales every year but rather on consistent leads that can make you consistent money.

On that note, Bread and Butter offers detailed mentorship and guides on how you can effectively sell on platforms like eBay and Amazon. There are also dedicated “Questions” channels for these platforms and a channel where Adam and the team review other members’ eBay stores.

You can even find important reselling tools on the server, too. For instance, the team provides a handy “Commands” channel, where you can automatically check out how much eBay fees are for specific item categories or item values.

There’s also a handy marketplace on Discord, where you can buy and sell items with other community members. You can even vouch for specific members and offer your items at wholesale prices.

Bread and Butter pricing

Bread and Butter likes to keep things simple in terms of pricing and only offers one membership tier with one billing option. The standard Bread and Butter membership costs $39 a month and gives you access to the entire Discord server with all the group’s leads and educational content.

I think this is a very fair price considering the expertise of Adam, Hayden, and the rest of the Bread and Butter team. I’ve looked at dozens of other reselling platforms that charge way more for similar quality of services, so I believe the Bread and Butter community is worth checking out.
