What are Content Rewards

As the name suggests, content rewards are a system that allows creators to reward their members in return for content.

If you’re in the YouTuber, musician, or streamer scenes, you might’ve heard of “clipping” - taking clips of creators and posting them on social media. You might’ve also heard that some creators actually pay money to people who create these types of content because it’s a great form of promotion.

Clipping is just one example of these types of systems - creators can reward UGC or direct promotional content as well.

However, setting up a streamlined system for this can be a bit hard for creators - this is where Whop’s Content Rewards system comes in.

With the help of the super easy to use Content Rewards feature on Whop, everyone can start rewarding their members for content they create - whether it’s clipping, faceless content, or UGC.

How to create Content Rewards on your whop

To be able to create content rewards on your whop, you first have to add the Content Rewards app to it. While it’s a very simple process, we want to make sure you have a whop to begin with. If you don’t, make sure to check out our guide on creating your first whop in under 3 minutes.

If you got your whop ready to go, let’s see how you can add the Content Rewards app to your whop:

1. Click the Manage apps button in the Your apps section of your whop to see the Edit apps popup
2. In the Edit apps popup, click on the New app button to see the app list
3. Search for Content Rewards using the search bar at the top of the app list and click on it to see its visibility setting popup
4. Select the Visible option in the visibility setting popup (because the Content Rewards app doesn’t require heavy setup beforehand, unlike apps like Courses or Content) and click the Add button at the bottom of the popup

Adding the Content Rewards app to your whop is that easy. Now, in the next section, we’re going to walk you through how you can actually create content rewards.

Creating a Content Reward

Adding content rewards to the app is a fairly easy process. If you already have an idea about what kind of a content reward you want to create, you can do so by following the steps:

1. Click the Create content reward button at the top right of the app to see the Content reward setup popup
2. In the popup, fill out the required fields (indicated by red asterisks) and the optional fields, such as the title, total budget, reward rate, etc. You can also click the Upload tutorial button on the right side of the popup to upload a video that will guide your members on submitting their content
3. Once you’re done with all the required and optional fields, click the Continue button at the bottom of the popup

There you go, you just created a content reward - that was easy, right?

After creating a content reward, you’ll be directed to its detail view. You can click the All rewards button at the top left of the app to go back to the app’s content rewards list.

After adding the app to your whop and creating at least one content reward in it, you and your members will be able to see the details of the content reward in the app list.

Clicking on it will direct the user to the Content Rewards app where they can see a list of all the rewards you’ve created. Then they can click on a specific reward to see its detailed view, where they can submit their content.
