Whop Affiliate Program Terms

Overview

The Whop Affiliate Program lets you earn money by referring people to Whop in two ways: (1) earn commissions when you refer customers who purchase from Sellers on Whop, or (2) earn commissions when you refer new merchants who join Whop as Sellers.

Who Can Join

To become an Affiliate, you must be 18 years or older and have a Whop account in good standing. You'll need to complete an application and get approved by Whop. Once approved, you'll receive a unique tracking link (your "Affiliate Link") to use in your promotions.

How You'll Earn

Refer Sellers: When someone joins Whop as a Seller through your Affiliate Link, you'll earn a percentage of Whop's revenue from that Seller for their first 6 months. After 6 months, commissions stop.

Refer Buyers: When someone purchases from a Seller through your Affiliate Link, you'll earn a commission. The commission amount is set by either Whop or the individual Seller (the "Affiliate Offer"). Commission rates can change or end at any time, and the rate at the time of purchase is what applies. Check our "Hot Offers" section in our affiliate marketplace regularly for updates.

Important: You're responsible for promoting your Affiliate Link. We can't track sales if buyers don't use your link, which means you won't earn commissions for those transactions.

Your Responsibilities

Be honest and compliant. As an Affiliate, you agree to present Whop, Sellers, and their products truthfully and follow FTC guidelines for endorsements. You must clearly disclose near your Affiliate Link that you earn commissions from purchases made through it.

Do Not Represent Yourself as the Seller. You cannot claim ownership of Products or represent yourself as the Seller. You are a promoter earning commissions on referrals only.

Keep your content appropriate. Your promotional channels must not contain copyright or trademark violations, adult or violent content, defamatory material, religious or political viewpoints, illegal content, false advertising or would otherwise violate our Community Guidelines.

Follow keyword restrictions. You cannot use paid ads (like Google Ads) with keywords like "Whop," "Whop discount," "Whop coupon," or misspellings of these terms without written approval from Whop. This applies to these keywords alone or in combination with other terms.

Using Whop's Trademark

We give you limited permission to use the "WHOP" trademark in your promotions in the United States for promoting the Affiliate Program. You must follow any usage guidelines we provide here, and we can revoke this permission at any time.

Taxes & Expenses

Each of us pays our own taxes. You're responsible for any costs you incur as an Affiliate, and Whop won't reimburse you for promotional expenses.

Our Relationship

You're an independent contractor, not an employee. This agreement doesn't create a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.

Ending Your Participation

We can end your participation if you violate these Terms, if we decide to end the Affiliate Program, or for any reason at any time. You can end your participation anytime by notifying us.

When participation ends, you must immediately stop representing yourself as a Whop affiliate, remove all promotional materials, stop using your Affiliate Link, and stop using Whop trademarks. Commissions stop immediately upon termination.

Final payment: We'll pay you for qualified transactions within 30 days of termination. You must keep your account open for 60 days to receive final payment. If you violate these Terms, we may withhold or clawback payments from your Whop Balance.

Whop Bounty Program Terms

Overview

Bounties are a way for Sellers on Whop to pay users for completing specific tasks or providing promotional engagement, such as sharing clips or other marketing activities. Bounties may also include Team Payouts (which are and Content Rewards. If you participate in a Bounty as a Participant, these terms apply to you.

Who Can Participate

To participate in Bounties as a Participant, you must be 18 years or older and have a Whop account in good standing.

How Bounty Payments Work

The Basics. Whop Bounties work in three simple steps: (1) A Seller creates a bounty by defining the task, requirements, and reward amount, then publishes it to their community; (2) Community members complete the task and submit proof of completion (links, files, screenshots, etc.) through the app; (3) Once the Seller approves the submission, Whop automatically deducts the reward from the Seller's Balance and sends it to the user's account.

Commercial Transactions Only. Every Bounty must be tied to a legitimate, specific task or service you complete. Bounties are not gifts, prizes based on chance, lotteries, raffles, or peer-to-peer money transfers. Sellers may only pay you after you've satisfactorily completed the specified task in their sole discretion.

No Chance-Based Payments. Bounties cannot involve any element of chance in determining who gets paid or whether payment is made. The Seller is solely responsible for clearly defining tasks and verifying completion before making payment.

Whop's Limited Role

Whop provides the platform to facilitate Bounty transactions but is not a party to any Bounty arrangement. We don't guarantee the quality, legality, or outcome of any Bounty. We're not responsible for verifying task completion, determining eligibility, or mediating disputes over Bounty payouts.

Payment Processing. When a Seller offers a Bounty, any resulting payment to you is processed through Whop's Financial Partners. Whop does not hold, distribute, or take possession of Bounty funds. All money transfers happen directly between the Seller, you, and the Financial Partners according to their terms and applicable laws.

Disputes. Any dispute over whether a Bounty was completed or payment was earned is strictly between you and the Seller. We may, at our sole discretion, provide information to Financial Partners or regulatory authorities but have no obligation to resolve disputes.

Your Responsibilities as a Participant

Be honest and compliant. You agree to present Whop, Sellers, and their products truthfully in a manner that reflects your actual experience. You must follow FTC Endorsement Guidelines and not make any misrepresentations.

Disclose your compensation. You must clearly disclose that you're receiving compensation for your promotional activities.

Keep your content appropriate. Your promotional channels must not contain copyright or trademark violations, adult or violent content, defamatory material, religious or political viewpoints, illegal content, or false or misleading advertising.

Follow keyword restrictions. You cannot use paid ads (like Google Ads) with keywords like "Whop," "Whop discount," "Whop coupon," or misspellings of these terms without written approval from a Whop Account manager. This applies to these keywords alone or in combination with other terms.

No lottery-style promotions. You must not use or promote Bounties in any way that resembles a random drawing, lottery, raffle, chance-based competition, or non-commercial transfer of funds (like personal gifts or donations).

Comply with the law. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when participating in Bounties, including restrictions on advertising, endorsements, or promotions. You must not participate in Bounties for illegal, fraudulent, or non-commercial purposes.
