Step-by-step guide: Sending money to team members

Sending money to your team members on Whop is super easy - but first, make sure you have funds in your whop to begin with.

Step 1:

Navigate to your dashboard by clicking the Dashboard button under the Admin Area of your whop. Once there, click the Finances button to open up the dropdown menu and select Payouts.

Step 2:

Click on the green Send money button. This will only show if you have funds available to pay out, which you can see under the 'Available to pay out' section.

Step 3:

Once you click Send money, you’ll see the 'Send Money' popup. The form has three sections:

• Select recipient: Select which team member you want to send money to.
• Notes (optional): Add a note (50 characters max) to the notification that your team member will receive.
• Enter amount: Set the amount you want to send. You can see how much you can send on the title of this section, right next to “Enter amount.”

Once you’re done with the three fields, click the Send button at the bottom right of the screen to finish the process and send the money.

Step 4

Now that you’ve sent the money, your team member will receive an email and a DM notifying them.

The team member can then visit the Balances section of their Whop account to withdraw the funds to their financial institution.

Send money to anyone via their Whop profile

While you can send money to your team members using the payouts section of your whop dashboard, you can also send money to any Whop user via their profile.

To do this, click on the profile picture of a user to see their profile. In this example, we're going to click on the profile picture of a user in the Chat app.

Once you're viewing the user profile, click the green Send money button in the user profile, next to the Send message button. This is going to display the Send money popup.

In the Send money popup, you'll see the recipient, the Notes field (optional) where you can attach a note to your payout, and the Enter amount field where you should enter the amount of money you want to send to the user.

After filling out the Enter amount field, click the Send button at the bottom right of the popup to send the amount to the user.
